about

On April 28, 2011, as part of their "Tour De Force," Zajazza and Rabbi Darkside performed at La Triperie, an underground speakeasy-style live music venue in Lyon, France. For this unique event, they staged a bi-lingual Hip Hop show featuring a set from Lyonnaise MC Fish Le Rouge, a set from Rabbi Darkside, and a collaborative set backed by an ensemble of local musicians, world champ beatboxer Tiko (Under Kontrol) and Zajazza. The event also featured Say Word Entertainment's "Freestyle Pyramid" done, for the first time, in a language other than English. This live release features the collaborative set: 2 MCs + 4 Musicians + Beatbox + DJ. The selections you hear were arranged and rehearsed exclusively for this show; never recorded save for this live recording, captured straight out of the board.
